Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Email address - for sign-in links, licence keys, and receipts.
  • Payment records - amount, currency, method, and a reference. Card and bank top-ups are handled by a licensed payment processor. Crypto top-ups are USDT transfers you send directly to us, which we match by reading the public Tron blockchain. We never receive or store your card number or bank credentials - those stay with the processor.
  • Media you upload - the audio, images and video you submit to a tool.
  • Generated output - the result of each job, kept so it appears in your library and so we can resolve disputes.
  • Voice models - where you create a cloned voice, the resulting model is held at our voice provider under our account until you delete it.
  • Call metadata (Voice Call) - the number dialled, timestamp, duration and outcome. Needed to bill minutes and to answer carrier queries.
  • Usage logs - which tool ran, when, and the credits consumed.
  • Hardware fingerprint (desktop apps) - a one-way hash binding a licence to one PC. We cannot reverse it to identify your hardware.

Voice, face and biometric data

Some tools process a voice or face, which in several jurisdictions counts as biometric or otherwise sensitive personal data. We use it only to run the job you asked for. We do not use it to train our own models, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to identify anyone.

You must have the right to submit any voice or face you upload - see the Acceptable Use Policy in our Terms. If you believe someone has uploaded your likeness without permission, email us and we will investigate and remove it.

Analytics and advertising

We run the TikTok Pixel on this site. It reports page views and sign-ups back to TikTok so we can measure our advertising, and TikTok may use that data for its own purposes under its privacy policy. This is third-party tracking, and you can block it with any standard content blocker or browser tracking protection.

Beyond that we use only Vercel's aggregate request logs. We run no other analytics or ad networks, and we do not sell personal data.

What we don't collect

  • No identity or KYC documents.
  • No card numbers or bank credentials - the processor holds those, never us.
  • No call audio. Voice Call keeps metadata only; we do not record conversations.
  • No contact-list, location or device data beyond the licence hash above.

How we use it

  • Run the job you submitted and return the result.
  • Bill your wallet accurately and deliver licence keys.
  • Verify a licence is bound to the right machine at launch.
  • Send transactional email - receipts, and one renewal reminder before a SkiLocate key expires.
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud and breaches of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of specialist providers, each handling one job. We name them by category here; the current list of named providers is available on request from the address below, and we will tell you which of them touches a specific piece of your data.

  • Hosting and infrastructure - serving the site and keeping request logs.
  • Authentication and database - your account and its records.
  • Object storage - the media you upload and the output we generate.
  • AI inference providers - running the face, video and image models.
  • Speech synthesis providers - generating speech and holding voice models.
  • Real-time audio and telephony carriers - routing calls and live audio.
  • Meeting-join provider - placing an avatar into a video call.
  • Payment processors - card, bank transfer and cryptocurrency payments.
  • Blockchain node provider - read-only queries for USDT transfers.
  • Transactional email provider - sign-in codes and receipts.
  • TikTok - advertising measurement, as described above. Named because it tracks you rather than serving you, so you can make an informed choice about blocking it.

These providers operate in various countries, so using Ski Tools involves transferring your data internationally.

How long we keep it

  • Uploads and outputs - kept until you delete them or close your account.
  • Voice models - kept until you delete the voice.
  • Payment and call records - kept while needed for accounting, tax and carrier disputes, then deleted.
  • Account and usage logs - deleted when you close your account, except where we must retain them by law or to prevent an account being recreated after an Acceptable Use ban.

Your rights

Email support@skitools.app from your account address and we will, within 30 days:

  • Export everything we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your account, media, voice models and history.
  • Explain how any part of your data is handled.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, or to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Ski Tools is for adults over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn we have, we delete it and close the account.

Changes

We will update the date above when this changes, and give notice by email for anything that materially affects how your data is handled.
