What we collect
When you buy a Ski Tools product or use the AI tools, we collect:
- Email address — used to deliver activation keys and account sign-in links.
- Crypto payment data — order amount, network, transaction hash via NOWPayments. We do not see your wallet's transaction history.
- Hardware fingerprint (desktop apps only) — a one-way hash of your PC's identifiers, used to bind a license to a machine. We cannot reverse this hash to identify your hardware.
- Tool usage logs — what tool you ran, when, and how much credit it consumed. We do not store the content of your uploads (audio, images, video) after processing completes.
What we don't collect
- No KYC / identity verification.
- No credit card or bank details (we never see them; payments are USDT only).
- No third-party analytics beyond aggregate Vercel logs.
- No cross-site tracking. No ad networks.
How we use it
- Deliver your purchased license keys by email.
- Verify that a license is bound to the correct machine on each launch.
- Send a one-time renewal reminder 7 days before a 3-month SkiLocate key expires.
- Debug and prevent abuse (rate-limiting, fraud detection).
Third parties
We use a minimal set of vendors. Each handles a specific job:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- NOWPayments — USDT payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Vercel — web hosting.
- Replicate — AI inference for Voice Clone, Face Swap, Lip Sync.
Your rights
Email support@skitools.app from your account email and we'll:
- Export everything we store about you.
- Delete your account and wipe your wallet + tool history.
- Answer any question about how your data is handled.
