Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Agreement

Ski Tools is an independently operated software service. These terms cover this website, our Telegram bots, and our desktop applications. By creating an account or using any tool, you accept these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy in section 7, which is part of this agreement.

If you are using Ski Tools for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Several tools generate synthetic media or place telephone calls, and both carry legal responsibilities we are not willing to place on a minor. We will close any account we believe belongs to someone underage.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in is by emailed link. Tell us promptly at support@skitools.app if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. What we sell

  • SkiProxy - a one-time $5 licence bound to a single PC, with lifetime updates.
  • SkiLocate - a $9.99 key valid for 3 months on a single PC. It does not auto-renew; buy a fresh key to continue.
  • AI tools - pay-as-you-go from your wallet, priced per use. This covers Voice Clone, Face Swap, Lip Sync, Video Clone, Talking Picture, DocEdit, Voice Call and Ski Call. Prices are shown before you confirm each job.
  • Voice Call numbers - rented monthly for outbound caller ID, subject to the telephony rules in section 7.
  • Free tools (TikTok Saver, Instagram Saver) - provided free, with no uptime guarantee.

5. Wallet and credits

AI tools draw on a prepaid wallet. Top up by card or bank transfer (Paystack), or in cryptocurrency (NOWPayments and direct USDT). Credits are a prepayment for services, not electronic money, and carry no interest or cash value beyond their use on this site.

Where a job fails through a fault on our side, we return the credits for that job. A job that completes and produces a result you simply dislike has still consumed the compute it was priced for and is not automatically refunded - contact support and we will look at it.

6. Refunds

  • Desktop applications carry a 7-day no-questions refund. Email support.
  • Unused wallet credits can be refunded within 30 days of top-up. They do not expire if you keep them.
  • Credits already spent on completed jobs are non-refundable, save for the failure case in section 5.
  • Rented phone numbers are refundable within 48 hours if unused, and not once calls have been placed.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Our tools produce synthetic media and place real telephone calls. That makes them useful for production, localisation, accessibility and testing - and open to misuse. This section is the line, and it is binding.

Consent and likeness

You may only supply a voice, face, or likeness that is your own, or one you have the rights or documented permission to use. This applies to every tool that takes a person as input: Voice Clone, Face Swap, Lip Sync, Video Clone, Talking Picture, Voice Call and Ski Call. We may ask you to evidence that permission, and may suspend access until you do.

Telephony

Calls placed through Ski Tools are made under your own identity and at your own legal risk. You must not use the service for automated or bulk calling, for calls to numbers on a do-not-call register, or for any call whose purpose is to obtain money, credentials or personal data by deception. Many countries require you to disclose that a voice is synthetic, and to obtain consent before recording a call. Complying with the rules of both your jurisdiction and the recipient's is your responsibility.

Prohibited outright

  • Child sexual abuse material, in any form, without exception.
  • Intimate or sexual imagery of a real person created or altered without their consent.
  • Impersonating a real person or organisation to deceive - including fraud, phishing, and social-engineering a person's contacts, employer, or bank.
  • Falsifying documents, identification, records, receipts or credentials, including through DocEdit.
  • Content presenting a real candidate, official or public body as saying or doing something they did not, in an electoral or civic context.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, or content targeting a private individual.
  • Evading a platform's safety systems, or any use unlawful where you or your subject is located.
  • Reselling access, sharing licence keys, or operating your wallet on behalf of others.

We enforce this on report and on our own detection. Consequences range from removing content to suspending or closing your account without refund, and we report unlawful material to the relevant authorities.

8. Reporting misuse

If you believe content made with Ski Tools uses your voice, face or likeness without your consent, or otherwise breaches section 7, email support@skitools.app with any detail that identifies it. We aim to acknowledge reports within 72 hours and prioritise those involving a named individual. The same address takes copyright and DMCA notices.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to process your input, pass it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and store the result so it appears in your library. We do not use your content to train our own models.

Subject to section 7 and to the terms of the underlying providers, outputs you generate are yours to use. Note that in many jurisdictions purely AI-generated material may not attract copyright.

10. Licence keys

Desktop keys are hardware-bound. Tampering with, sharing, or bypassing the licence check voids the purchase. Chargebacks raised outside the refund window, without contacting support first, are treated as fraud and close the account.

11. Availability and warranty

The tools are provided "as is". We depend on third-party AI, telephony and payment providers, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particular output quality, or fitness for a specific purpose. AI output can be wrong or unusable; check anything you rely on.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data, or claims brought against you arising from how you used the tools. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time; unused credits are refundable under section 6. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would prejudice an investigation or breach the law. Sections 9, 11 and 12 survive termination.

14. Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. For changes that materially affect your rights we will give notice by email or in-product before they take effect. Continuing to use Ski Tools afterwards means you accept them.
